Excel on a mac

Hi,

I'm not sure if you can help but I am using excel on a mac for the first time, however I seem to have created a grey shaded box around my data which is preventing me from continuing the list down the cells- would you know how to remove this?

Thanks

Raani

RE: excel on a mac

Hi Raani thank you for your question.

I will certainly try to help. Can you enter values in the grey area or does it prevent you from editing cells entirely?
If the spears sheet does not contain sensitive data you are welcome to forward a copy to me. Send it to forum@stl-training.co.uk and mark for attention of Andrew.

Kind regards,
Andrew

Excel tip:

Deleting a range of cells using the autofill handle

Firstly, select the range of cells for which you would like to clear the contents. Then drag the autofill handle to the the top left corner of the selection whilst holding down the shift key. Your selected contents should then be deleted.
