Glitches when using emphasis animation

The movement in the title when the presentation runs is caused by the title box on each slide being slightly out of alignment.

Inconsistent formatting in titles or text blocks can occur when PowerPoint's auto-correct feature adjusts longer content to make it fit the place holders.

Auto-correction can be turned off as follows:

Click on the Office button to bring up the file menu and click PowerPoint Options. From the list of options that appear choose Proofing then click the AutoCorrect Options button.

Next choose "Autoformat as you type tab". At the bottom of the list you will see two options: "Autofit Title text to placeholder" and "Autofit body text to placeholer"

Removing the ticks from these boxes means that if content is too big for the title or body placeholders you will have to manually edit or resize to make it fit (rather than PowerPoint attempt to resize it for you). This can be preferable because you can choose edits and font sizes that are consistent from slide to slide.

With regards to the existing titles that seem to jump here is one way to fix this:

First make a backup of your presentation in case you want to start these steps from the beginning

Make a new slide in the current presentation. We will use this to make a fresh title. In the blank title placeholder either paste the text or retype and format your title.

Click on the border of the title placeholder which should then select the place holder and its contents. Choose copy.

Remove all the old title containers from all the original slides.

Starting on slide 2 choose Paste. PowerPoint will put the copied title in the same position as the original (which should be nice and central)

Repeat this paste on each of the remaining slides. Now when you run your presentation each slide's title will be in an identical position - so will appear to remain perfectly still as you advance through the slides.

You may wish to just remove and re-apply the animations from fresh. You can remove them all in one go by highlighting the animations in the custom animation list and clicking remove.

I noticed that on slide 14 the text entrance animations use a mix of Fast and Very Fast which accounts for the occasional jumps in the flow.

I think the clipping that appears at the end is linked to the emphasis/font animation. You may want to experiment with some of the other emphasis animations as they may produce results that better fit your content.
