Bullets and numbering

Hello
Can we edit the standard styles of bullets and numbering?
i.e. we would like to disable some of the ones which Word offers.
We know we can add list styles, but we would also like to remove some which we don't want to see in our documents.
Hope you can help,
Liz

RE: bullets and numbering

Hello Liz

Thank you for your question.

If you go into Format - Bullets and Numbering and change one of the default bullet sets to something else, the bullet style you choose will remain in the bullets gallery unless someone presses the Reset button to restore the original bullet gallery settings.

RE: bullets and numbering

Thank you. If we make changes to the default bullets in our global template, and one user presses reset - does that affect everyone?

Is there any way we could disable the "reset" button to prevent this action?

RE: bullets and numbering

Hi Liz

I presume a user would create a new document from the global template, in which case if they do press the Reset button it will effect only the document they are working on, not the template.

I'm not sure whether it is possible to disable the Reset button and if so how you would go about this.
