What is #div 0 error in Excel?

When you try to divide by 0 (zero) or a blank cell, Microsoft Excel displays the error value "#DIV/0!" as the result of the calculation.

eg. Cell A1 has a number 22, Cell A2 has 0 (or is blank). When a formula is written in Cell A3 as =A1/A2 the error #DIV 0 will appear.

You can use the built in Formula Audit function to help understand error codes.
