Anthony: Duplicates

Hi Anthony,

Could you please send us a procedure that we could use to remove duplicates contained in a database?

I am not only interested in finding duplicates. I also would like to be able to remove the relevant records.

I thank you in advance for your help.

Alain

RE: Anthony: Duplicates

Hi Alain, good to hear from you again. Here is Microsoft's advice on dealing with duplicates in your database:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/access-help/find-eliminate-or-hide-duplicate-records-in-access-HA001034558.aspx

...and here is a real-world example which shows you the sort of hoops you'll have to jump through:

Hope this helps,

Anthony
