CREATING FORMS

I have created a form in a database to enter customer details.
However when I open the form it opens pre-filled with the first record from the customer table. How do I get it to open at a blank form so I can enter a new record?

RE: CREATING FORMS

Hi Sarah,

Thank you for your question.

If you open the form in Design View and click on Property Sheet which is situated at the end of the Design Tab.

Navigate to the Data Tab and select 'Yes' from the Data Entry Property.

Everytime you open the form it will be in Add Mode and the records are hidden. If you want to view the existing records using the form then change the Data Entry property back to No.

I hope this answers your question.

If this does answer your question could you please mark the question as resolved.

Regards

Simon
