Cache Flow Problems

My projects were published to server and everything worked fine.

Now, for some unknown reason, Projects seems to be- from what I can tell- failing to properly check in projects.
Naturally, the only way to open them in Read/write again is to empty the cache, when you do that- all of the changes are lost, so I'm back to square one.

Save -> Publish
My changes haven't taken effect on PWA
Try to open again in Projects
It's already checked out...

From the other point of view, PWA is also powerless as the published projects become classed as either "Processing" or "Cancelled" so Forcing checkin is out of the question.

Other aspects of the server are working fine; I can directly load up the projects. I just can't publish changes....

What should I do?

RE: Cache Flow Problems

On further examination I realise the server Queue fills up with a list of "waiting to be processed" items, which i can cancel- so the communication back an fourth seems to be fine. Its just nothing actually gets processed.....

...it has to be something simple....

RE: Cache Flow Problems

I poked and prodded in every way.

Then it happened.

I opened the Terminal server from my PC- so i could experience the same error from two different perspectives. The Terminal showed all the signs of not being connected- namely the dreaded red triangle.

The Internet service provider has been giving me the dial-up experience all over again, then- a surge of bandwidth, my speed pops back to normal, then Projects, slowly but surely begins to communicate.

Is it co-incidental, or was the internet basically too slow for the communication between projects and server?- effectively timing out every time...

Santa will see "Connectivity Integrity" on his list this Christmas
