Maximum amount of query fields

Hi,

I'm trying to create a fairly large query and require quite a lot of fields to come out of it.

It seems like the maximum amount is 16, is there anyway that I could have more available to use?

Cheers!
Tristan

RE: Maximum amount of query fields

According to Microsoft Access Specifications, Queries have the following specifications:

The max number of fields in a recordset of a query is 255, with a max of 32 tables.

Although you can see only 16 fields, in the Query view, you can keep dragging field names and dropping them in the blank area at the end.

Carlos

Ahh... perfect! Easy fix that one :)

Access tip:

Hiding Multiple Table columns

If you want to hide non-adjacent Access table columns. In Datasheet view, open the table that contains the columns you want to hide.

On the Format menu, click Unhide Columns.
In the Unhide Columns dialog box, clear the check box next to the name of each column you want to hide.
Click Close.

This method makes having to use the Hide Columns command repeatedly unnecessary
