Can MS Project be used with a PDA device?

RE: Russ Harris

Hi Russ

From checking with a few sources, you can get some third party software that will enable some synchronisation of your MS Project data to your PDA.

"Project@Hand
Approx $30, this package will synchronise your Palm with information from Microsoft Project, enabling you to update tasks and synchronise them back onto your Windows PC. Project@Hand can also be used as standalone system.

Pocket Plan
Like Project@Hand this software also enables you to synchronise/update your Microsoft Project files, and can be used as a standalone system, but is for the Pocket PC."

Hope this helps.

Jacob

MS Project tip:

Email a Task

When you need to communicate important information to your project staff use Microsoft Project 2003 to send them a note using outlook or an e-mail system.

1.In a task sheet, select the task or tasks which you want to send a project note.

2.On the File menu, point to Send To, and then select Mail Recipient (as Schedule Note).

3.Under Address message to, select the recipients of your note.
