I am using a MS template, but want to change some of the field names. I change them in the table design view, but they don't change when I revert back to Datasheet view, how can I change the titles so that they amend in all the forms, reports and tables?

RE: Templates

Hi Lucy

Try editing the CAPTION field in the table properties. When you edit existing field names, the caption can remain the same for some reason.

Richard

RE: Templates

Go to the table
Click on Design view
click on the field you want to edit
look to the bottom of the window, to Field Properties.
There you will see CAPTION.

Access tip:

Hiding rows and columns

To hide a column or row in Access, you need to minimise the column or row. This can be done by placing your mouse on the right edge of a column, wait for the mouse to change to a double aroow and then drag to minimise the column
