Solomon Accounts

Using an ODBC link can reports be imported/exported to Access from/to Solomon Accounts?

RE: Solomon Accounts

As Solomon Accounts is not a Microsoft based package, the exact answer depends if SOLOMON ACCOUNTS works with ODBC drivers or if it has a set of drivers all of its own.

You can test to see if you can link into the database by :

1. FILE> GET EXTERNAL DATA> IMPORT.
2. Navigate to the location of your Solomon database
3. Follow any steps that follow.

If you are unsuccessful, you might consider contacting your SOLOMON ACCOUNTS supplier and see if their technical support team can assist you.

Access tip:

Copy a Previous Record's Values to a New Record

If you often enter the same value in one field of a table, there are two methods to save re-typing the data.

1. Use Ctrl+' (apostrophe) to repeat the value input in the previous record.

2. Change the field's DefaultValue property in Design View to the most commonly used value.
