How do i continue to write in the Header box before using the Tab button, eventhough i put the cursor beside the last letter, it does not allow me to add any letter, it was bringing in the text from the next table. Thank you

Enquiry?

Hi Abimbola,

Thank you for your question.

What happened on the course regarding the header and footer was really unusual.

I have tried to recreate the problem but have failed.

When you view your Header and Footer, type your first text in the left section, and then use tab key to navigate to the centre and right hand sides of the Header or Foter.

Regards

Simon

Word tip:

Moving Table column lines where you want

This tip is similar to the one i added on tabs.

When you are moving table lines the pain is that they jump, but if you use the ALT key and then click on the table column/row line it will allow you to move it anywhere you want.

The best bit about this shortcut is that when you press the ALT key the ruler changes and show's you actual cell sizes.
