Access Advanced course
Access Intermediate course
ACCESS
-I get very confused when managing 'many to many' relationships, so it would be helpful to find the way to understand these better when using qualitative data rather than numerical data.
-how to learn more and improve on sql programming?
-application of functions, conditions, etc
RE: ACCESS
Dear Nahara
Thank you for attending Access Intermediate course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.
I believe that we did cover relationships between tables in Intermediate level which I think you might have missed out.
I think the below link will help you to understand many to many relationships between tables!! Please note that if you click on the "Handling Many to many relationship in MS Access" link it will give you further information with some examples.
http://www.databasedev.co.uk/many_to_many.html
It doens't matter if your data is quantitative or qualitative you can still get teh results using Queries, Macros, etc... to get teh data you have from your database as long as teh database hacs been created with the correct structure following the normalisation rules etc..
I believe that we covered SQL in Adv level but may be not in too much depth as it is on a individual basis what the user is trying to query!!
All the Functions that Access supports are in the Expression Builder.
It is best to use the functions from there!!
I hope this has answered your query.
If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!
Kindest Regards
