Introduction

I created a new workbook and then I create some formulas.
I know that formulas can be desplayed in my spreadsheet by using CTRL+the "pipe"key, but I didn`t know how to go back to my previous status. I used the "undo" key, but it didn`t work

RE: Introduction

Hi Stefania

Thank you for your question.

If you use the same two keys CTRL+ the 'pipe' key, then the spreadsheet will change back to the view you are used to seeing it in.

Kind regards
Amanda

RE: Introduction

Hi Amanda,

Thanks a lot for your replay.
It was so easy and I didn`t think about it!!!!!!!!

Kind regards

Stefania

Excel tip:

Naming and Using Constants

Constants make calculations easier so worksheets are more easily understood. Constant values also need to be given relevant and memorably names. It is also easier to change the value of a constant.

For example:
Instead of entering 17.5% in each cell when you generate a VAT amount you could name a Constant "VAT" and assigning a "0.175" value to it. To do this:

From the 'Insert' menu select 'Name', then select 'Define'.

Enter the constant
