Access VBA queries subforms

Hi,

I have a subform which has no related fields to the form it has been placed on. I wish to filter the records in the subform when a user clicks a button. i have placed the following code on the onClick event of the control

DoCmd.ApplyFilter "queryName"

this works fine when the subform is opened as a form not a subform but will not work when it is a subform.

Please help

Anna

RE: Access VBA queries subforms

Hi Anna

Thanks for your query. The main remit of the forum is to assist delegates with any topics they covered during their training.

Naturally we would love to get involved in every post but it is not always practical.

From what you have described, this looks more like a consultancy requirement and although once we have had a chance to look at your sample files the work may only take half an hour, it could also take longer.

We will let you know what we can do and the associted costs if you wish to progress this, just let us know.

Regards

Jacob
