Prevent record deletions default

Every time I create a new form I have to remember to alter the forms Allow Deletions property from Yes to No. I have been unable to find a default setting specifically for this property. It would be great to know if there is one since in the db concerned there must never be any deletions ever.

RE: Prevent record deletions default

After hearing someone elses opinion I now assume the answer is no it can't be done other than by using some code.

Access tip:

Hide Access Tables

One method of stopping your Access tables appearing in Database window, is to rename the table(s) with the prefix usys.

This converts the table into a system object, which cannot be viewed in the Database window.

You can show system objects in the Database window by the following:

Step 1: On the Tools menu, click Options.
Step 2: Click the View tab.
Under Show, select the System Objects check box.
Click OK.
