Percentage & Number formatting within Access queries

Hi

is it possible to format numbers in queries without changing the original tables. i.e. I have a query which extracts percentages from 12 other tables. Some of the data from these tables is returning 66% others 0.66 etc. Can i just format the query columns to ensure all numbers are formatted as a perentage regardless of how the data in the table is formatted.

Many thanks

Neil

RE: Percentage & Number formatting within Access queries

Hi Neil

Thank you for your question.

If you open your query in design view and right click on the column in question. You will get a context menu. Select properties and click on format.

You can then choose the option to display the data as a percentage without changing the data in the table.

Regards

Stephen
