Linking project plans

I would like to know how to link to project plans.

RE: Linking project plans

Hi Anna

One way to do this is as follows:

In your project click in a blank row then from the insert menu choose Project... and then select the project file you would like to insert.

Click on the plus symbols beside the inserted project titles to open up the subtasks. In the Gantt chart move mouse over the bar of the predecessor task, left-click and drag your mouse over the successor bar in the other project and let go. The link now spans multiple projects.

You can then double click on the link arrow to choose the type of dependency you want.

Do us know if you have any further questions!
Kind regards,

Andrew
