Ms Access to Outlook

MsAccess has two-toolbar button for emailing reports/tables and other stuff via Outlook.

Button 1) Mail as attachment
Button 2) Mail Recipient *

Unfortunately, Button 2 * is not highlighted in almost all possible default toolbars, customs. How can we make it highlighted so we can send email file directly NOT as a attachments. Or any other solutions exist to resolve the issue?

Thanx

RE: Ms Access to Outlook

Hi Reza

The reason the button is NOT active is that the only way you can email Access objects is as Attachments.

To send a report as the body of an email you would need to convert it to Word and then send it.

Carlos

RE: Ms Access to Outlook

Hi Carol,

I have already tried that suggested way but I was after to send entire body of the report from Access.
Also I have another question, when I creat the form in MsWord and attach it to email as a body, my Check boxes, drop boxes are NOT showing in reciepient email.

Thank you
