Block cells

How do I block an excel cell so no-one can enter details with in the cell?

RE: block cells

Cells and worksheets can be locked using the TOOLS > PROTECTION > PROTECT WORKSHEET feature.

If you click on FORMAT > CELLS > PROTECTION, then you will see a setting to lock or unlock individual cells.

It works on two levels. All cells are locked by default, but the activation of that feature happens when you use PROTECT WORKSHEET from the tools menu.
