PDF export

How do I get rid of the legend from the export? generally make the export work better - ie not over 24 pages??

RE: PDF export

Hi Jessica

If you'd like to remove the legend, follow these steps:

File > Print > Page Setup
On the page set up window, click the Legend tab
On the right hand side you will see "Legend on:"
Select "None"
Click Ok

If you would like to control how many pages it creates more easily, try printing to PDF rather than saving:

File > Print > Page Setup > Scaling > Fit to: > 1 page wide by 1 page tall.
Then print to PDF (e.g. Adobe PDF printer, Microsoft Print to PDF, third party writer)

Let me know if you have any further problems.

MS Project tip:

Keep constraining dates to a minimum

As far as possible avoid fixing the dates of your tasks. For example try to steer of clear dragging task bars in the Gantt chart to move them on the timeline or entering dates directly into the Start / Finish fields.

Date constraints such as these limit Microsoft Project's ability to automatically adjust your project whenever you add, remove or modify the duration of your tasks. Instead use the logic in your task dependencies that link your tasks to enable Project to calculate the start and finish dates for you.
