What is filter definition

RE: Filter definition

Hello Keith,

Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft Project courses with Best STL.

Thank you for your question regarding what a filter defintion is.

Actually, I'm not sure what you are looking for.

I'm sure you must have used the autofilter drop-downs to filter data during the course. Or you may have selected the built-in filters which are available in the Views ribbon and located in the Data group.

If you didn't, then open one of the activity files which you have access to by downloading our support zip file. Give the filters a go as suggested above.

If you need more advanced information on how to create your own filters etc. then I suggest you attend our advanced Project course.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.
Regards,

Rodney

MS Project tip:

Typing Links Between Tasks

In the Entry table, use the Precessors column to type in links. Type the previous task's ID to link. To change the link, add FS (Finish-Start), FF (Finish-Finish), and so on, and + duration to add a Lag, or - duration for a Lead time. Example: for task 5, 4FS+1w ... task 4 preceeds task 5, finish to start, with a week lag between.
