Lag

When you need to use negative lag?

RE: Lag

Hi Tony

Thanks for your question.

Negative lag allows you to refine a dependency between tasks. For example in a Finish to Start relationship you could set the Successor to Start before the Finish of the Predecessor by setting a negative lag value.

This has the effect of shortening the time required for the tasks to be completed but could lead to over-allocation problems.

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew
