Working with spreadsheet in two windows.

I work with two computer screens and I can not manage to open two windows. I have applied what I learned in the course but it actually did not work with excel aplication in the computer I use at work. Any idea what could be causing this obstacle?

RE: Working with spreadsheet in two windows.

Hi Gabriela

I'm assuming this works with other applications on your PC and that you have setup your display properties in control panel correctly. Here is a link from Microsoft describing how to to configure multiple monitor support in Windows XP http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307873.

To ensure Excel displays more than one windows for each book that is opened go to
Tools-Options.
Select the View Tab
and just below in the Show area check Windows in Taskbar.

You should now be able to see multiple windows when more than one book is opened in Excel. You should now be able to drag one of the Windows to your extended desktop and it should display on the second screen.

If that doesn't help please don't hesitate to get back to me

Many thanks

Newson
