Tables in MA

Is there a maximum limit to the amount of tables Access can hold? Additionally is there a limit to the fields a table can hold?

RE: Tables in MA

Hello Brian,

Thanks for the question, Looking through my books I can only find partial answers to your question, What I have found relates to Access 2000, Max database size = 2GB, Max TableSize = 1GB, Max number of objects in a database = 32,768, Max number of modules in a database = 1000, Max number of fields in a table = 255. Hope that helps.

Access tip:

Space marks

It is good practice not i to have space marks for field names as this can lead to problems when using queries or VBA code. It is much better to use an underscore charcter to represent spaces in field names
