Can someone please explain the difference between count and counta formulas?

Thank you for attending Excel Advanced course!! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

Count is used when you are trying to perform calculations on the cells that contain Numbers AND NOT TEXT.

COUNTA is used when the cells contain Text AND NOT numbers.

Count function returns Zero value if you include cells that contain text.
