How do you format reports?

RE: Project

Hi Medhya

Thank you for your question. To format a report go to View > Reports and double click on the Report group of your choice.

Single click on the report you would like to format then click the Edit button. The controls in the dialog box all you to apply filters to the report results as well as format the text.

I hope this helps - do let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew

MS Project tip:

Typing Links Between Tasks

In the Entry table, use the Precessors column to type in links. Type the previous task's ID to link. To change the link, add FS (Finish-Start), FF (Finish-Finish), and so on, and + duration to add a Lag, or - duration for a Lead time. Example: for task 5, 4FS+1w ... task 4 preceeds task 5, finish to start, with a week lag between.
