Access sub forms

how many subforms can a subform hold?

RE: Access sub forms

Hi Amanda

I think the answer to thr above is as many as you can fit in

I have personally created a form with 4 subforms; and 1 of these subforms had 2 subforms of its own

For example, the main form had the company details;

One subform had the employees details. In the Employee details subform there was a subform detailing the courses they had attended and another, the courses they had asked to attend

I created the Employee details subform separately as a main form with its 2 subforms and then added it as a subform to the main Company details form

Hope this has helped

Carlos

Access tip:

Dsum

You can create percentage values based on individual products / items by using a Dsum function (used with a grouped query)

[Each value column] / Dsum[field:total for the column needed to be calculated],[tablename]
