What is your advice on the best way to add meeting and information notes to a record - just to add a large text field? Would you be able to search on that?

Thank you for your question regarding adding a notes field.
Yes, I would recommend what you have suggested as a viable way of recording meeting and information notes on a record. You have over 16,000 characters in a MEMO field, and you can search on it.
Remember to set the field data type to MEMO, other wise you will be limited to 255 Characters in a text field.
