how many non-data fields can we use within a table? i.e. word limit to text box.

RE: Access

Hello Simon,

Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft Access courses with BEST STL Training.

Thank you for your question regarding data fields.

You can have upto 255 fields of data in a table.

Within each field you can customise the properties.
A standard text field can only contain upto 255 characters. A memo field can contain upto 16000 or so characters.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post.
Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.
Regards,

Richard
