Linked Tables

If you change contents on one of the linked tables, is the content automatically updated on the other table and does it work both ways?

RE: Linked Tables

Hi Jiwan, thank you for your post, in answer to your question, when you create your joins in the relationship window, if you select to enforce Referential Integrity the option for Updating Related data is available, if you select to endorce this option, any changes made to the one side of a one to many relationship will be reflected automatically in related fields in the many side, in a one to one relationship this is also the case, however the action only works with changes made to the parent table (the one side) not both ways. I hope that answers your question, best regards Pete.
