Images and behaviour

Is there a way to hover on text and have an image appear in a blank area of the layout?

RE: Images and behaviour

Enid,

I hope that you learnt a lot from your Dreamweaver CS3 training course in London.

It is possible to swap an image when you hover over certain areas of text. I would recommend the following website: Image swaps.

Hope this helps
David

RE: Images and behaviour

Hi David,

Thanks for that. I do understand how to SWAP images; I am wondering IF it is possible to have a popup image (preferably within the page, not a separate window) when a word is hovered on.

Thanks -E.

Dreamweaver tip:

Xhtml vs html

When using dreamwear template or just creating a blank webpage, you are able to select the markup language you want to use. The main choices are either xhtml or html. It is now best to select xhtml as this will translate all the html into xml, so it is transmitted across the web in xml format. One of the main advantages of this is that it makes the site that you build much more compatible with the range of different web browsers that exist.
