I Have a table in Access That is linked to an excel file. Can the table in access be made a normal table ie not linked to the excel file?

Hi Alan, Thanks for the post, In answer to your question, I would copy the linked file in the Database window and then paste it back in again with data and structure kept. You can then give it a new name, however any reports, forms and queries from that table will have to be adjusted to look at the new name.
If you delete the linked table and name the new copy as the same name as the linked table had your linked objects should still retain their source data link.
