If you want to view individual tasks by person, the best solution is to use the resource useage sheet. This will allow you to identify the breakdown of task allocations by resource.

You can then filter by individual resource to see specific individuals.

In addition if you open the resource useage sheet, split the screen and then open the GANNT chart in the botttom pane, then the GANNT chart view will synchronize with the selections in the resource sheet
