Inserting movies

How large can a movie be, is there a size limit?

thanks

RE: inserting movies

You can link or embed sounds, graphics, and videos in a presentation. Linking and embedding are different in that embedding saves the object inside the presentation file whereas linking links the presentation to the outside file. By default, graphics and videos are linked and sounds are embedded if they're smaller than 100KB but linked if they are larger than 100KB.

You can change this value if you want larger sounds to be embedded in a presentation. This results in a larger presentation file, but it eliminates the need to keep the linked sounds with the presentation. You can also change this value if you want smaller sounds to be linked, resulting in a smaller presentation file.

To change the link/embed file size limit, you open the Options dialog box by selecting Tools, Options and clicking the General tab. Then you set the link/embed threshold by changing the Link Sounds with File Size Greater Than value by using the arrow buttons. You then click OK to save your changes.
