Text wrapping

sometimes my square and tight text wrapping does not activate while others do. Where am I going wrong?

RE: text wrapping

Hi Marzbeen

Thank you for your question.

There is a setting in Word that controls how a picture comes in by default - perhaps this is the problem?

If you go to choose Tools - Options - Edit and then check the Insert/Paste pictures as dropdown arrow to see what it is set to - whatever is showing here is the default wrapping option for picture that are inserted/pasted into Word.

I hope this helps.
Amanda

Word tip:

Find out all Word's shortcut keys

Want to learn more Word shortcut keys?

Here's how to you can find more shortcut key combinations:

1. Look up shortcuts in Help - this should bring up a link to the Keyboard Shortcuts topic.

2. Word has a built-in macro that you can run which will produce a list of all Word's shortcut keys that you can then print.

To access the macro, go to Tools - Macro - Macros. Use the dropdown arrow next to Macros in: to select Word commands.

Scroll down the list under Macro names and select ListCommands, then click Run.

Click OK. A document listing shortcut keys should be generated for you, which you can print for future reference.
