how to save a database as a template.

You are not able to do this as a standard option.

Simply create a database, and give it the name TEMPLATE.


Save it to the directory

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\1033

(this is different for different version of access).
To find where yours will be, do a file search for a name of any template you can see in Access

Access tip:

Combo box for finding records

You can use a combo box in a form to look up a record. If you place the comb box in the Form header, by then selcting they a field type from the drop down loist, you will see the record for it
