Excel exported data

Hi,

Another question please.

When we have exported data and there are pages and pages of data as we have to export from our backoffice say back to 2004.

We have alot of data and we cannot export at present from our back office specific dates so there are pages and pages.

We only require for example 2007 although we have back from 2004.

If we sort etc and ascend so that 2007 is at the top of the spread sheet - how can delete all the other info without having to hightlight pages and pages down there are alot and then pressing delete which takes ages.

Please?

Kind regards
Lisa

RE: Excel exported data

Hi Lisa, Thanks for the post, if we take your last paragraph, where it is I assume you need the help, from the start of the first row that you wish to delete, press CTRL + SHIFT + END, this will highlight everything from that point onwards, then press Delete which will delete all the data you do not require.

Excel tip:

Change the Default Width of All Columns in Excel 2010

If you want to change the width of the columns in your Excel 2010 spreadsheet, making them either larger or smaller, here's how:

In the Cells group on the Home tab, click Format.

Hover over the section called Cell Size and a drop down list will appear, select Default Width from this list.

In the Standard Width dialog box, enter the size you want to set as the default width and click OK.
