Conditional Formatting
Hi team and happy holidays.
I have a conditional formatting question
I'd like to create a conditional format in Column C under two criteria = when today has been more than 90 days since the date value in Column A + when the value is not "Y" in Column B.
Alternative, the criteria related to Column B could simply be when there is a blank space.
Please could you advise if two conditions are possible for a conditional formatting?
Thanks,
Matthew

RE: Conditional Formatting
Hi Matthew, happy holidays to you too!
Thank you for the forum question.
Yes, you can definitely apply conditional formatting in Excel based on multiple criteria. Here's how you can do it:
Select the cells in Column C where you want to apply the conditional formatting.
Go to the Home tab on the Ribbon.
Click on Conditional Formatting in the Styles group.
Choose New Rule from the dropdown menu.
Select Use a formula to determine which cells to format.
Now, you can enter a formula that combines your two criteria. For your specific case, the formula would look something like this:
If Column B is not "Y":
=AND(TODAY() - $A1 > 90, $B1 <> "Y")
If Column B is blank:
=AND(TODAY() - $A1 > 90, $B1 = "")
After entering the formula, click on Format to choose the formatting you want to apply (e.g., fill color, font color), and then click OK.
This will apply the conditional formatting to Column C based on the criteria you specified. Let me know if you need any more help!
