How to import a table on a webpage into Excel

RE: Webpage

Hi Christine

Thanks for your question.

You can do this by going to Data - Import External Data - New web query.

A little browser window pops up - enter in the web page address and press Enter.

Each table will come up with an arrow in a yellow box next to it - click on the box next to the table to be imported.

Click Import at the bottom of the little browser window.

The data may take a few seconds to come through.

Amanda.

Excel tip:

Create and delete borders

To put a border around the outside of a selected range, press Ctrl+Shift+&. Use Ctrl+Shift+_ (underscore) to remove any borders from a range.
