Copying Pivot Table Charts/Data into a new Sheet

Hello,

I am creating a dashboard and I need to copy pivot charts and data into one sheet. I believe their is a way of copying the data and the chart across in tact but I cannot seem to figure out how. At present I am just copying and pasting, but it means the date slice doesn't work.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Richard

RE: Copying Pivot Table Charts/Data into a new Sheet

Hi Richard,

Thank you for the forum question.

If you want to move a chart to another sheet click on the chart. On the Design Tab under Chart tools in the ribbon you have Move Chart (The last tool to the right). From here you can easily move the chart to another location.

You can also move the PivotTable to another location. Click inside your PivotTable under the Analyze tab in the Action group ou can find move PivotTable.

The slicers will work if you move the objects as described.
