Compare two columns - =IF(COUNTIF($F:$F, $E) <>0, "-","different

Hi there,

I need to submit this sheet but I must compare two large columns to spot VALUE differences.

I try to use

=IF(COUNTIF($F:$F, $E) <>0, "-","different Value"

Not sure why is not working. You may have an alternative method and will be easy if the value_if_false was red.

Help please.

Many Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan,

Thank you for the forum question.

Please find the attached workbook and have a look at sheet 1.

You are very close. I have used conditional formatting to highlight in red all different values.
