Access - moving a form so pages are in the correct order

I am filling out information in a previously created database. I have now been given a new page of info to input, but I seem to be only able to add it as the last page. I need to insert this page (or move it) in the middle of the database. Please can someone tell me if this is possible, or whether I will have to delete all the previously entered pages and start again.
Thank you!

RE: Access - moving a form so pages are in the correct order

Hi Marion,

Thank you for the forum question. It sound to me like you have a tab form where you can move between the pages using tabs at the top.

To change the order of the pages you need to be in design view.

1. Click on the tab you want to move.
2. In the property sheet under ALL you will find the PAGE INDEX property.
3. Change the index number to what you want but be aware that the first page is index 0.

I hope this is what you want.

Kind regards

Hi Jens, thank you for replying.

Can I please e-mail you a screenshot of the form I'm working in as I can't see tabs or anything you are referring to?

Please let me know which e-mail address to use.

Thank you.

Marion.

Related tables

When you have related tables such as Customers and their Orders, the Customer table is the Primary table.

Open the Customers table in datasheet view and go to the Home Tab and Records group. Click on the More option and choose Subdatasheet and then click on Subdatasheet again. Now choose the related table (Orders) and click ok.

Now you can click the + symbol by each company to show the related orders.
