Thanks for getting in touch. Excel has gone into "R1C1" mode. This is an option you can set so Excel becomes more compatible with other spreadsheet programmes.
You can set and unset this by going to the Office button > Excel Options > Formulas and making sure the "R1C1 reference style" box is checked.
