how can i get a difference between two different tables without downloading onto excel and comparing two tables.i need to know which are new accounts in the last year when i only have customer number and name?

RE: access

Hi Dipika,

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

If the Customer Number and Name field appear in both tables then add both tables in a query and link the customer number fields and change the join type to the second one. Then add the customer numbers from both tables and the dates.

You can also try a find unmatched query.

I hope this helps you.

Regards

Simon

Access tip:

Dsum

You can create percentage values based on individual products / items by using a Dsum function (used with a grouped query)

[Each value column] / Dsum[field:total for the column needed to be calculated],[tablename]
