Piviot Tables

Hi, I have created a pivot table with very basic information, Supplier Name in the Row and Month in the column, totalling the amount spent with each supplier by month. All I need to do now is arrange by, amount speant, High to Low. Is there a way to do this when I put the piviot together or do I have to just highlight all the cells and sort by A to Z or in this case Hign to Low?? just wanted to see if there was an easy way that I am missing.
Many Thanks
Tracy

RE: Piviot Tables

Hi Tracy,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. You dont have to highlight all of the cells, just click into one cell and use the sort option and it will sort all high to low or low to high while keeping the information grouped by the supplier name.

This is the easiest way of sorting.

Thanks
Paul

Excel tip:

Line breaks in a cell

You can control the line breaks for multiple-line headings or labels in your Microsoft Excel worksheet, just like you do in Microsoft Word. Here's how to do it.

Click the cell where you want the label or heading to appear.
Type the first line of information.
Press ALT+ENTER.
