Pivot tables

When you pivot a table of data for instance showing regional data on sales by Quarter for a number of products the pivot function can give you a regional breakdown by quarter by product on one sheet but with only a grand total. Can you get excel to automatically produce a total table broken down in the same way as the regional summaries, i.e. with products on the vertical and quarterly sales on the horizontal?

Hi Phil, thanks for your query. That sounds like it should be possible but it's difficult to give you precise instructions without seeing your data. However, have a look at the following link on subtotals:

Number format shortcut

Ctrl+Shift+! applies the Number format, with two decimal places
