How to do graphs

How do you transfer data from reports to graphs

RE: how to do graphs

Hello Steve,

Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft Access course with BEST Training.
Thank you for your question regarding Charts

In 2010, after you create a Report or Form, go to Design View, then in the Design ribbon you'll see a button for creating a chart. Click this and draw out a box on the area of the form or report where the chart is to go. A Wizard chart dialog will open, similar to other microsoft charting tools. Follow the step by step instructions on this dialog.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.
Regards,

Access tip:

Prefixed Autonumbering

When using Date Type = Autonumber as a primary key, clients may require autonumbering to be prefixed with a letter.

For example, P001, where P is the prefixed letter

Instructions
Step 1. Create Field Name
Step 2. Set Data Type to Autonumber
Step 3. Within Field Property General tabsheet,
enter Format property as [backslash]P000
