Further to an Advanced Project course in March with Garry, my colleague Paul and I would like to understand how you can import a Project into Sharepoint, as so far we have been unable to see how this is done.

Thanks very much for your question - can I just check your set-up? What version of Project are you using (including Project server if it's available) and what version of Sharepoint too.

We are using Project 2007 with Sharepoint 2007. We do not currently have Project Server.

Thanks for coming back to me with the information.
We do provide consultancy and training services either onsite or over the phone and in this case we would probably need to assign one of our technical trainers to speak to you regarding your infrastructure.
One thing that might be helpful to know is that the version of Project 2007 and the infrastructure you are using will determine whether or not you can interact with Sharepoint.

Hi guys,
I am trying to sync in multiple project plans ( on a MS Project 2010) with sharepoint 2010 on an existing list, but every time I try and sync in a project plan it automatically creates a new sharepoint list, because the previous one ( on which I initially intend to save the plan) is already in use.
I created a new sharepoint list and managed to sync it with a project plan. However I then created another project plan and tried to sync it with the same sharepoint list and this error occurs:
" The task list was synchronized to a different project plan. If you continue with the synchronization the task list will be appended with the project plan"
Any idea what to do ?
