Hi Gemma, thanks for your query. A macro is a set of linked actions, recorded as code in Word/Excel/etc and then replayed in order to perform complex, repetitive tasks at the touch of a button. Macros are very useful tools for designing bespoke solutions in the Office suite and anything that requires a tool that does not come as standard in Office can usually be solved with a macro of some sort.
